Wei is responsible for technology and innovation, as part of KPMG’s US$1.5 billion investment to embed an ESG lens into KPMG services and solutions. Prior to this, he led KPMG’s global alliances with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, working closely with KPMG sector and functional experts to help clients address business issues and drive growth. He has over 20 years of experience in organic and inorganic growth with KPMG International, Merrill Lynch International and Lloyds Banking Group, both in principal roles and as an advisor. At Lloyds Banking Group, Wei was Interim Corporate Finance Director where he supported a review and re-prioritization of its £100bn non-core international portfolio and the subsequent disposal of these businesses. His other leadership roles in KPMG have included Global COO of the KPMG Blockchain Practice, Member of KPMG’s Financial Services High Growth Markets Panel which helps our clients identify in and out-bound investment opportunities as well as innovative leap-frogging business models, and Member of KPMG’s Global FS Deal Advisory Leadership Team.
