Simona Scattaglia

Simona has joined KPMG in 1997 and she was appointed KPMG’s Global Insurance Technology leader in 2018. During her lifetime experience in KPMG she has matured a deep expertise in the design and implementation of IT architectures and solutions mainly in the Insurance and Banking industries. In particular, Simona has 24 years of experience in the Insurance sector and in her country, she leads the IT implementation practice for Financial Services. With the experience gained in the past on many complex Finance and Risk end-to-end transformation projects and currently with the IFRS 17 catalyst wave of change on insurance contracts, she is also the KPMG Global Accounting Change Implementation Lead Partner. In her role, she is actively supporting many countries in the definition of their target architectures, in the selection of the appropriate software application components and in running the implementation projects from strategy to delivery.
