Scott Rankin is the Global Head of Strategy at KPMG International and US Strategy Leader at KPMG in the US.
Based in Boston, Scott has spent much of his career as a strategy consultant, working directly with senior private equity and corporate executives on M&A and performance transformation. At KPMG in the US, he collaborates with clients to define and help create value through acquisitions, divestitures, and business and operating model transformation.
Scott leverages sophisticated analytics to identify commercial, margin, cost and working capital levers for EBITDA improvement. He has experience across multiple industries, with particular depth in the consumer goods and retail sector. Scott's areas of expertise include strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, due diligence, commercial acceleration, cost optimization and financial analysis.
Prior to joining KPMG, Scott held executive roles at both a Fortune 150 retailer and a mobile commerce start-up.
