Melissa is the Global Chief Administrative Officer and Global Chief Financial Officer for KPMG International and sits on the Global Management Team. Previously, Melissa was the US Partner-in-Charge, Risk Management-Tax, as well as the Americas Risk Management Partner for Tax. Prior to this, Melissa served as the Business Unit Partner-in-Charge for the Bay Area tax practice as well as a Senior Lead Tax Partner. She was admitted to the partnership in 2000 and has been with the firm for more than 30 years.

During her career with KPMG, Melissa has served a wide variety of both privately held and publicly traded clients primarily in the technology industry. She has advised clients on various tax and business issues including international operations, mergers and acquisitions, state and local planning, accounting for income taxes and regulatory compliance, and tax authority examinations. Melissa has served as the lead tax partner on a number of Fortune 500 technology companies and has been a regular speaker at both external and KPMG events, particularly on issues dealing with Accounting for Income Taxes.
