Gordon is the National Health and Life Sciences Industry Leader for KPMG in Canada where he supports organizations domestically and globally on all aspects of quality transformation and works extensively in the areas of patient access, financial improvement and the creation of continuous improvement cultures. Among his many projects, Gordon has led hospital patient-flow transformations across 60 organizations that reduced emergency department wait times and has coached senior leadership on Lean problem-solving support at more than 30 acute care hospitals. He has also supported organization-wide transformations across Canada, the UK, Middle East and Australia. As Global Co-Lead, Operational Excellence in Healthcare, Gordon collaborates globally to advance solutions to enhance quality of care and improve patient outcomes through organization-wide transformation. He has authored or contributed to numerous publications on Operational Excellence and other healthcare sector topics. Gordon has more than 20 years’ experience with 15 years focused on healthcare. Prior to joining KPMG in 2011, Gordon held senior-level roles with other management consulting organizations.
