Craig Mennie is the Global Head of Transaction Services at KPMG and Partner at KPMG Australia, specializing in financial services, real estate and infrastructure transactions and serving many of the largest international and domestic clients in these sectors. In more than 30 years with KPMG, Craig has held several international posts in Hong Kong and London and successfully managed transactions in South Africa, Asia, the US and Europe. Craig has extensive experience in leading complicated multi-jurisdictional transactions. He thrives on overcoming challenges on a day-to-day level and being proactive for his clients at KPMG Australia. “Deals are becoming more competitive and complicated and with this change our clients are demanding holistic advice covering not only the risks but identifying areas that can be changed to create value” he believes. “These changes require leaders who can collaborate with peers to deliver.” His specific areas of expertise include Banking, Infrastructure, Insurance, Investment Management, Operational restructuring, Private Equity, Real Estate, Wealth and Asset Management. Craig holds a Bachelor of Economics from Mcquarie University with a focus on Finance and Economics. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of FINSIA and has completed a management INSEAD course focussing on strategy.
