Ms Catherine Burnet

Catherine is a Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services assurance practice. Catherine has worked primarily within the assurance function, providing external and internal audit services, but has also worked on a number of advisory projects, including IFRS conversion and client money regulations. Her clients include Aberdeen Asset Management, HSBC, National Australia Bank, RBS, Tesco Personal Finance, SMBCE, Green Investment Bank, Baillie Gifford, Artemis Investment Management, Walter Scott & Partners Limited, Scottish Building Society and 16 investment and venture capital trusts, including Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust and SAINTS. Catherine spent 2 years on secondment to the US, working on global banking clients.
