Bega Cheese has enjoyed remarkable growth to become one of Australia's leading producers of cheese and dairy products. Pursuing a bold vision to be 'The Great Australian Food Company,' Bega recognized that its existing HR systems and processes lacked the flexibility and scale needed to manage the company's steadily growing workforce. 

Bega turned to KPMG Australia for help in launching its ambitious 'Future Today' HR transformation program, a strategic initiative to centralize and automate disparate HR operations and harmonize employee data to deliver timely new workforce insights and enhanced decision making.

Bega selected Workday's Human Capital Management cloud solution and worked closely with the KPMG Australia team to implement it  - including the adoption of a KPMG Powered HR solution to help customize Workday's platform to Bega's needs.

Amid the major changes, KPMG Australia helped Bega support its employees with a change-management program that proved particularly valuable as employees navigated the challenge of managing the global pandemic, working from home in new ways and adapting to transformed HR operations. 

The implementation of Workday is now helping Bega manage its 4,000-member workforce via a single source of information, data and insights, and the KPMG Australia team continues to support Bega's ongoing digital transformation goals.
